Albenga – The City of 100 Towers
Albenga is a city in the province of Savona, a popular seaside destination with a long and rich history dating back to the Roman Empire. The city is also famous for the local gastronomy products grown on the plain of the same name (Piana di Albenga), the largest in the entire region. Albenga has just over 24,000 inhabitants, slightly increasing, mostly thanks to a pool of foreign citizens residing here who are well integrated into the city’s social fabric. The average age of the residents is around 47, with an average income of around €18,000, which has steadily increased in recent years (source Immobiliare.it The number of tourists is growing and affects the area throughout the year, with a natural peak during the summer period (source: Regional Tourist Observatory).

Beaches
Albenga is one of the most popular resorts on the western Ligurian coast and attracts tourists all year round. It offers beaches full of every comfort and crystal clear sea; not to mention the Gallinara Island Regional Nature Reserve.
Sport outdoor
Albenga is located on the western Ligurian Riviera, in the plain of the same name near the mouth of the Centa River, which over the centuries has acted as the “natural architect” of the Ingauna plain, reshaping the terrain several times. In summer there are many beach sports such as sailing, kayaking and snorkeling and many sports in the immediate hinterland: MTB, paragliding, Nordic walking and so on.
Fun
Albenga is characterized by a young summer nightlife: it is a town full of bars, restaurants and discos. Also just a few kilometers away is the largest water park in Liguria: Le Caravelle in Ceriale.
